Mr. Wally...

Sa unang tingin palang,
hindi ko talaga gusto ang dating niya...
Masyado siyang maingay,

Typical "asshole" personality,
Pero lahat yun just out of intuition...

I was watching "Legend of Zorro"...

And he's really quite annoying that time,
Since hindi ko pa napapanood yung palabas...
Pero dahil hindi naman ako suplado,
kinausap ko na din siya...

5 months siyang nag-stay sa Japan,
2nd time na daw niyang makapunta doon...

sa isang home for the aged sa Japan.
Nakapag-extend siya twice, kaya umabot
ng 5 months yung stay niya.

Sa Ikebukuro sa nanunuluyan dun,
dun sa bahay ng kapatid niya who is
already married to a Japanese guy...

Sabi niya, akala daw niya mag-asawa kami
Sa loob-loob ko, "gago to ah"...
It was really funny though...

Masyahin siyang tao, that's for sure...
36 years old, may asawa't anak na,
26 years old ata ang kanyang kabiyak,
grade 2 ata yung kanyang anak...

niyang model...

Little does he know, na mga computer people
magawang english yung language nung laptop...

At this point, may nabanggit siya na reminds
me of Bayani Agbayani... he he...
Yung mga "bold" daw... take note of the "F"

so mas mababa daw yung boundary niya
than the usual 1k php.

Pinagmalaki din niya yung pagiging,
I should say "huwarang" driver niya,
hindi siya nangongotrata, nagbibigay ng sukli,
at nagbabawas pa ng singil kung sakaling
maligaw man sila... very rare in these times indeed.

unexpected...

something tells me to stay a little longer,
so i went to glorietta for the usual solo walk...

hanggang 7pm lang dapat,
para makapag-dinner din sa bahay...

i was hoping to see anyone,
who is familiar and i could talk to...

after several minutes of walking alone,
i saw a familiar face...

pagkakataon nga naman,
yung bestfriend ko pa...

he's one of the few buddies,
i had during my high school and elementary years...

he was heading to the cinemas,
i followed him and called his attention...

he's an architect,
but still have yet to take his board exam next year...

dalawang taon kasi dapat ka sa practice,
bago ka pwede magtake ng exam...

it's been a while since we last met,
that was September 24 last year...

the screening time is 7:30,
we just spent the remaining minutes talking about work...

it really feels good to be able to see,
an old friend and share stories with him...

so i'm trying to make up for the lost time...
i really don't know, intuition perhaps...
mapapadalas ata ang mga solo walks ko...

Tabehodai and Roppongi

Pahabol na post...

February 25, 2006:
Eat All You Can Lunch at Ginza...
Thanks to Jecal for the treat... :)

Hilaw na pork...

Hilaw na squid...

Kamay ni Henrison...

Chopsticks ni Jecal...

Isang oras matapos ang pakikipag-sapalaran...

Never been that full before... :P
Ang hirap maglakad... :P
Ang hirap huminga... :P

After the heavy lunch... balik sa Akihabara...
Naglakad-lakad para matunaw ang mga taba...

While searching for the Hibiya Line Station...
Na-ispot-an ko din yung 2nd Yoshinoya sa
Akihabara... just near the Yodobashi Center...

After ko makita ko yung Hibiya Line station...
I went to Roppongi... 10+ stations away...

The 1st thing I saw... "Maman"

"Tokyo Tower" from the 2nd Floor of Hill Side...

The "Mori Tower"...

Hindi na ako pumasok... wala na akong
pera eh... tsaka 7PM narin... I still
need to get ready for the next day's
departure...

Asahi TV Headquarters...

Hill Side Stairs...

Roppongi Hills Arena... Under Construction...

Mori Tower from Asahi TV...

Ropponggi Hills, C and D...

Pagkatapos nito... medyo masakit na talaga
yung kamay ko gawa ng sobrang lamig...
kailangan ng hanapin yung Oedo Line Station...
it should not be that far... pero nasan?

isa pang Yoshinoya sa Roppongi... which
I actually did... he he...

Yoshinoya Roppongi Branch...
near Oedo Line Subway Exit

Bits and Pieces Part 2

some random stuffs...

small things...
maybe insignificant for some...
but they do need some recognition as well...

The Magazine I took from the subway station
this morning... The cover girl is Boa

Kon strapped on my bag...
looks cool... he he...

Yoshinoya's Free Egg Coupon that I got a week ago...

I used to keep pieces of paper like this one...
Including "thank you" post-it's during my
high school years... :D

The Tokyo Inn alarm clock...
It usually takes me 3-5 snoozes before
I get out of the bed... :P

MRT Stored Value Ticket... with Erap's Photo...
I'm not an Erap supporter...
and I'm not in favor of having some policitian's
photo on my train ticket as well...
But between Erap and Arroyo...

I'll go for the lesser evil... :P
You can find this in my wallet... :)
And I'm not planning to return this... :P

things to ponder...

people tend to communicate with others in different ways...
but do they really understand each other? or...
are we really capable of understanding in the first place? ...

uhmmm...

I learned something disturbing today... :|

I don't feel comfortable working
for people who doesn't trust me... :|

But no matter how hard this is...
I have to accept the fact that
no matter how hard I try...
I'll never be able to please everybody... :|

So instead of being a victim and
keep feeling bad about it...
I'll just get over it in my sleep... :P

Yushima Shrine Pictures...

One of the temples inside...

It so happen that there's an origami exhibition
in the shrine's compound...
so better get my cam warmed up... :)

I was wondering why they're getting pictures
of this tree... so I tried searching over the internet...

It's a Cherry Blossom (Sakura) tree...
http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2011.html

Close-up shot... :D

Marble...

A thousand colorful paper cranes...

I really have no idea what they're trying to do...

I saw an old guy taking pictures using this...
It looks weird, but it does work though...

Who needs a tripod if you can't take pictures
from above... while still standing on the ground?

He even showed one of his shots to us... after that...
I took a shot of the other end of his accessory... :P

Camera+Periscope = Cameriscope

This is the real "BOSO" cam... niyehehehe... :P

Shibuya Part 2

2nd time in Shibuya... at medyo sanay na ako
mag-navigate using the Tokyo Handy Guide
I'm stealing from the Hotel Lobby... :P

together with Ninya, we went to several
places in Shibuya... here are some pictures...

Shibuya Disney Store...

Ducky Duck... :P

An lamig kasi eh... nasusugat yung kamay ko... :(

The rest of the pictures are from Electric Power Museum...
At first ayaw pa namin pumasok... pero nung
nakita naming Admission: Free, hindi na
nagdalawang-isip pa... he he... :P

The 2nd floor is a showroom of some futuristic home
appliances...

Toilet 3000...

It has an infrared device which detects
if someone is nearby and automatically
raises the seat cover...

When you're done, after 60 seconds...
It automatically closes the seat cover...

If you need an actual demonstration,
I have a video as well... with the help of
Ninya of course... :P

It got some cool controls too... :)

Computer generated Earth...
Can be controlled via track ball...

A scaled of Nuclear Power Plant...

Still part of the Nuclear Power Plant
